Managing Director Ian Sinclair has left UK wholesaler VOW and is replaced by Adrian Butler, the company said in an statement.

"As a consequence of the reorganisation of the management of the VOW business it is with regret that I must inform you that Ian Sinclair, Managing Director of VOW and ISA Retail, has left the Company. Ian leaves after six years and I would like to thank him for his important contribution to the management of the business and I trust you will join me in wishing him every success in whatever new venture he may choose to embark upon next.

"We plan to significantly strengthen the senior management of VOW in the coming weeks. Our first step is to appoint a new Managing Director of the VOW business and to this end we are delighted to announce the promotion of Adrian Butler.

"Adrian has over 17 years' experience of office products wholesaling, a successful track record in growing sales, a comprehensive knowledge of the VOW business model and an excellent understanding of our customers' requirements. Adrian's appointment will allow us to focus on VOW's commitment to the independent dealer channel in the UK and Ireland as we continue with our investments across the network, improve our service offering and engage more proactively with our customers."

Further announcements are expected shortly regarding the additional management resource planned.
