German writing instruments manufacturer Staedtler has received important support from TF1, France's most popular television channel. TF1 has allocated six 15-seconds slots to advertise the first World Kids Colouring Day sponsored by Staedtler.

World Kids Colouring Day will be held on 6 May 2008 with money raised from the promotional day will go to support the child rights organisation Save the Children.

Children from all over the world over have been asked to colour and sell their most beautiful works with the proceeds going to support children in conflict affected states.
