Japanese manufacturer Sunny won the first prize in the Function category at the Product of the Year awards at ISOT 2007 for its Pencle whiteboard marker.

Features of the product include a magnetic cap, meaning the pen can be kept on a magnetic whiteboard and that users just need one hand to remove the cap.

The pen also uses water soluble inks, so the user can clean the board using a damp cloth and there is no messy dust.

So far there are three colours to the range, traditional black, blue and red, but some more striking colours are planned for later in the year.
