Steelcase, a global office environments manufacturer, announced today that it has been honored with two awards from WasteWise, an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) program that helps U.S. organizations reduce municipal solid waste. Winners of the WasteWise awards are selected for accomplishments in waste prevention, recycling collection and buying or manufacturing recycled content products.
Steelcase has been awarded a Gold Achievement Award for Product Stewardship, as well as an Honorable Mention for demonstrating commitment to municipal waste reduction in the Large Business Category. This is the 5th consecutive year that Steelcase has received a Large Business Honorable Mention and the 2nd consecutive year to receive a Gold Achievement Award in the Product Stewardship Category.
