Stationery Direct announces that it is the UK’s newest stationery and office supplies provider, stocking over 20,000 stationery products online. The new company will operate from a warehouse in Smethwick, West Midlands.

“Through harnessing the power of the internet and supplying you directly, our website will slash costs off the same products found on the high street or from other office suppliers by up to 90%,” says the company.

Stationery Direct was formed by Mitesh Soma and his wife Krishna, who set up Chemist Direct in November 2007. Last week, Mitesh Soma was named Best Male Entrepreneur in the BT Essence of the Entrepreneur Awards, following the success of Chemist Direct.

"With conditions as tough as they are firms are looking at ways to save money wherever possible, which is why we believe the timing of this site is right. We can offer huge savings because we buy on the wholesale markets,” said Mitesh Soma.
