After six-year discussion, the new law of Registration,Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH) has become effective by European Union on June 1st, and will be carried on on the same day in 2008. According to the specialists, REACH will be the biggest trade barrier for all the stationery suppliers after China entering the WTO.Due to all the fee for registering and inspection must be burdened by the manufacturers themselves, the estimated cost for this will be around USD0.5-1 billion every year.
