Staples has announced the promotion of Neil Ringel to executive vice president of Staples Advantage, the company’s business-to-business division. The division focuses on businesses with 20 or more employees, including global businesses, local, state, and federal government agencies, health care organizations, and educational institutions.
Ringel joined Staples in 1995 and worked to help launch the Staples Advantage business, the company said in a press release. He succeeds Jay Baitler, who will retire in October after 17 years leading Staples Advantage. Ringel most recently served as senior vice president of Staples Advantage.
In his new position, Ringel will have overall responsibility for Staples Advantage in North America and report to Joe Doody, president of Staples North American Delivery.
