Wholesaler Spicers will close its Regional Distribution Centre in Birmingham, following the end of a collective consultation process.

Alan Ball, MD for Spicers UK said: “The closure of this site, which will happen by the end of March, will ensure that we are able to effectively meet the ever changing demands of the market and our customers over the coming years. We are committed to supporting the staff affected by this closure over the coming weeks.”

All customers affected by the announcement will be informed and will have the full assistance of their sales and service teams during the transition to their new Distribution Centre.
