Smead receives best website award - USA

Smead has announced that the smead.com web site has received an Outstanding Web site WebAward in the Manufacturing Category from the Web Marketing Association. The Web site received the high marks for its overall design and interactivity.

 

"Receiving an Outstanding Web site Award is a great honor. Smead makes it a priority to understand how people work, and we are continually creating new ways to get things done-faster, easier and smarter," said Jim Riesterer, Smead Vice President of Marketing.

 

"We think our Web site should reflect that priority as well. We based our entire Web site design philosophy on it, and it's why we developed Smead Organomics, a section of our Web site that helps individuals find personalized organizing solutions suited to their unique styles and types of work. It's an online organizing tool for real people."

 

Nominated Web sites were evaluated by expert judges on seven criteria using a 10 point scale, including Design, Innovation, Content, Technology, Interactivity, Copywriting and Ease of Use.
