Quo Vadis has partnered with Tree-Nation to plant 100,000 trees for the planet. The trees will be planted in Niger, the poorest country in the world according to the HDI index.
The plantation is in DOSSO, 150km east from Niamey and is aimed to combat deserification, one of the primary consequences of climate change, affecting mostly developing countries. The African continent, and especially the sub-Sahara regions are highly exposed to the problem of desertification and thus poverty.
From February, 2010, by buying a product from the Habana range, which includes notepads and diaries, consumers will be sponsoring a tree in the Quo Vadis forest.
