PBS Deutschland has appointed Torsten Busemann as its new head of purchasing.

The German wholesaler says that Busemann brings extensive industry knowledge and market experience to the post. He has previously held various management positions in purchasing and product management, most recently at Ratio Handel GmbH & Co. KG in Münster.

Founded in January 2005, PBS Deutschland, combines the market strength of four leading former independent wholesalers: ALKA, K&B, H+M-Schreyer, and R&S.
