French printing cartridges manufacturer Paxton has bet on protecting the environment with its 100% eco concept. Thierry Le Bihan, Paxton’s chairman, explained to ISG that he is selling a concept based on reusing previous cartridges.
The first move is made by consumers who benefit from a 0.15€ voucher on their next cartridge after throwing away the used cartridge in a recycling bin. Paxton has also added a social aspect to the process by employing handicapped people to sort the cartridges before they are refilled to complete the recycling process.
The company’s strong sustainable development concept has already seduced several French supermarkets and is set to expand rapidly all over Europe. The green and profitable aspects of the 100% eco range are sales arguments that are hard to resist.
