Over 300 exhibitors already confirmed for Paperworld China - China

In stark contrast to last year, Paperworld China organisers Messe Frankfurt see there is a prevailing sense of optimism that a recovery is underway. Supporting this claim, the upcoming edition of Paperworld China, which runs from 15 – 17 September 2010 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre has already 300 confirmed exhibitors taking part from 15 countries and regions including China, Egypt, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK, the US and Latvia for the first time.

This year’s event welcomes back such notable companies as Acme United, Carl, Comet, Deli, Eagle, Marco, Simbalion, Sunwood, US Ring and World Wide Stationery.

It will also serve as the launching pad for design-driven newcomers like Studio Marine from France, Today’s Writing Instruments from India and FOPI Ltd from Latvia.

FOPI Ltd was eager to be involved in the upcoming edition of Paperworld China as they are confident that the stationery and office supplies markets would begin to improve this year. “This will be our first time to participate in a trade event outside of Europe. We took the decision to take part in this particular exhibition because of its ability to attract key regional and international buyers from department stores, retail chains and supermarkets,“ said Mr Pavels Ustinovics, Managing Director of FOPI Ltd.

Occupying an exhibition area of 5,000sqm, the paper and printing zone has doubled in size this year. Located in Hall E2 of the fairground, here visitors will find a wide selection of printing paper, notebooks, exercise books, paper bags and boxes, wrapping paper, albums, calendars, memo pads, adhesive pads, greeting cards, postcards and recycled paper from over 50 companies including Guangbo, Hopax and Pukka Pads.
