Mail order giant Otto has continued the sell-off of its low-margin IT distribution business Actebis.

Hamburg-based Otto has sold the German, French, Austrian and Dutch subsidiaries of Actebis to Arques Industries AG for an undisclosed sum.

The deal follows the sell-off the Actebis Italian and Spanish subsidiaries in May, and the closure of its UK operations.

Otto is now looking at ways of divesting its last remaining Actebis subsidiary in Switzerland.
