They say there is no loyalty in the workplace anymore, well try telling that to Peter Doyle of Office Club member Orchard Stationery in Harlow, Essex, who is seeking a replacement for Sandra Murphy, an internal telesales person leaving the company after 13 years.
That fact alone might not be big news, but for Peter Doyle having to find a replacement is part of the job he has not had to experience for over a decade. “I can’t remember the last time anyone actually left the company” Peter recalls “it is certainly not since Sandra joined us eleven years ago. We are a fairly flexible, friendly, hard working company and staff just don’t seem to leave us – I have almost forgotten what I need to do to go about recruiting a replacement!”
