Office Depot has said that its stockholders re-elected all 12 board members at the company's annual shareholder meeting. The results are based on a preliminary analysis by its proxy solicitor, Office Depot said Wednesday in a statement.
The vote comes after a dissident group of shareholders led by Alan Levan, president of Woodbridge Capital urged shareholders not to vote for the company's director candidates.
Office Depot’s stock price rallied on the news, gaining 2.4%.
