Canton fair organisers have decided to split the fair from 2 phases into 3 phases next autumn. The stationery and office supplies players are delighted to be in the new Pazhou pavillon for the first time this week. In order to give all industries the same service, organisers have decided to move office supplies and stationery from November 2nd to 6th 2008.
Is that any good for the show ?
As many of the industries players have not yet been informed about this move, reactions are mixed.
Some of the professionnals met here the last 2 days are very confident in the continuous development offered by the organisers. It’s a fact that Chinese organisers have improved so much in the last years (see former news on Canton fair improvement).
Other professionnals complain that office supplies should be together with electronic and computer and communication products (these are from October 15 to 19). They are certainly right !
It is the same trouble for gifts and premium that will be shown on october 24 to 28.
The industry's buyers certainly won't spent 2 weeks in Asia, so they will have to make a choice !
