The National Stationery Show at the Jacob K Javits Center in New York, now in its final day, has named seven Best New Product Award winners.
The winners are:
Desk Accessories: Woodessen, Inc. (Fullerton, CA), for Stylton Pen Holder & Memo Holder Set, made of solid wood inlaid with Italian rainbow wood, packaged in a handcrafted gift box.
Lifestyle/Specialty Gift: Kookie Stationery (Canmore, Alberta, Canada), for Kookie Stationery, jumbo sized iced cookies that come with a food safe pen, to write a message of love or humour.
Luxury: 'Designers' Fine Press, design by Margot Madison (Sparta, MI), for Garden Ornament Wedding Suite; a collection of three letterpressed pieces including a 2-color 5" x 7" wedding invitation on wood, a 4" x 6" response postcard, and a printed return envelope.
Paper Craft/Scrapbooking: Simply Renee, Inc. (South Jordan, UT), for Ribbon Organizer, an intuitively designed, easily accessible ribbon holder with space to clip ribbon scraps and store scissors.
Party: ThemeNaps (Atlanta, GA), for ThemeNaps; an innovative collection of napkins folded into shapes that distinctively celebrate holidays, life events, everyday occasions and more.
Social Stationery: C.R. Gibson (Nashville, TN), for Pocket Gift Card Mailers, uniquely embellished, interactive designs to present gift cards in a personalized, memorable fashion.
Think Green: Jacki paper (Belmont, CA), for recycled fortune teller greeting cards, 3-D greeting cards made from 100 percent recycled paper with 50 percent post-consumer waste, printed with 100 percent wind power credits and packed in a biodegradable cello sleeve.
