The new LED-Lamp from German manufacturer MAUL, the MAULprimus has been awarded 'Product of the Year' in the office products category from ISPA (International Stationery Press Association), the worldwide association of 25 leading trade magazines for the office products and writing instruments sector.

The MAULprimus contains six high-performance LEDs of the newest generation over 5000 lux light strength from a distance of 25 cm. Warm-white and cold-white LEDs can be dimmed separately; the light strength and colour mood can be determined for each individual – a very flexible solution.

Producers from all over the world entered the competition to achieve this ISPA-award. Innovation and Design, Environment and Sustainability, Customer-friendliness, Price, Packaging and Presentation were the criteria used to assess the products.

The award was presented on January 31st 2010 during the Frankfurt Paperworld Fair. “We are delighted that our innovation strategy has been confirmed with this prize,“ said Stefan Scharmann, managing director of MAUL, who took the prize on behalf of the employees of the Odenwald company, especially the development department.
