German Scales and office furniture manufacturer Maul organised a health day at the end of February. It took place during working hours and allowed employees to be informed about subjects related to staying in good health and for each person to look at their own particular situation.
Some of the subjects covered were correct nutrition, foot care and how to treat colds. Various health tests were offered including, hearing and eye checks, cholesterol, blood pressure and back and stomach tests.
“Possibly half of the assistants participated in the health day" said managing director Stefan Scharmann. " This positive response was very pleasing.”
