After 40 years in the stationery business, including more than 21 years at German office products manufacturer Durable, Lothar Schmidt, Area Manager Export Sales, will retire at the end of September, 2009.
His areas of responsibility were Asia and Australia/New Zealand, Latin America and some key markets in Europe.
Most of these areas will now be covered by Marco Vella, who has worked for Durable more than 10 years in the Marketing Department. Marco is familiar with all the Durable products and the company structure and is looking forward to the new challenges that the role brings. He will report to Juergen Schniedermann, Vice President Durable Export Sales.
Carde Höppe will take over Marco Vella’s former position of Marketing Communications Manager.
