French online reseller Manutan just announced the acquisition of ID RACKING Ltd, the British shelving and storage solutions specialist. Based in Bristol area, RAPID RACKING Ltd sells its services all over UK and Ireland.
The company is the leader in that activity with a £ 18 Million turnover in 2007. 20% of this amount has been done on the Internet.
Rapid Racking Ltd’s acquisition enables Manutan to strengthen its position in the UK and to become a skilful player on the Internet with a wider product range.
Jean Pierre Guichard, Manutan's board chairman commented: "This acquisition is fully in line with our acquisition strategy, which aims at consolidating our position of European leader, while at the same time enriching our product ranges, notably through the acquisition of specialists that complete our generalist offering, and thereby meeting our customers' needs ever better.”
