Lyreco has announced that Grégory Liénard has been promoted to the position of Managing effective from September 1st 2010.

Within the scope of his responsibilities, Liénard will also assume the role of Managing director of SiMa. Liénard joined Lyreco in 1996 as IT Support in our Canadian subsidiary where he was then promoted to the position of IS Director after a successful support to the implementation of SAP in 1997. After a short time in Field as Sales Representative in Toronto, he joined the Group team in 2000 as Development Manager with a strong focus on Asia where his responsibilities were to investigate the markets and the possibilities for Lyreco to invest, whether by acquisition or start up mode. He also spent some time working on European markets and finalised the acquisition of Brandex in Finland.

Since 2003 Liénard took over the position of Group Human Resources Director where he has successfully turned this department to a really business oriented team. He also implemented group programs that are now a reference such as VLP, Lyreco for Education or Lyreco University.
