3,900 exhibitors opened their stand in Hong Kong for what organisers say is the « biggest gifts show in the world » !
According to the opening ceremony speech made by Jeffrey Lam , chairman of the fair Organising Committee, this 23rd edition welcomes 3,900 exhibitors (on 78,000 m² and 4,200 booths) and hits a new record. Mr Lam has underlined the development of the show and expressed his pride in organizing what is now the biggest gift show in the world.
An estimated 50,000 visitors are forecasted here, we will check how regular exhibitors comment on the attendance in a couple of days…
Fair highlights include the Hall of Fine Designs in Hall 1.,the Ladies’gifts and premium section , the Kids’ World, the Silverware Zone …
In 2007, HK’s gifts and premium exports increased 2% to 21 billion US $ . Major markets have been USA, Japan, UK, Mainland Cina and Germany.
The show will be open untill May first.
