Printer and ink cartridge manufacturer Lexmark is aiming to win business by offering discount black ink cartridges.
A study by IRI conducted for Lexmark shows that in Europe, two thirds of professional users working from home and half of workers at companies print primarily in black. Also, nearly half of professional users working at home print more than 30 pages a week, while 40% print 100 pages a week at their workplace.
The units, which are being sold for 4.99 euros (4.99 pounds in the UK) are being provided to "help customers save money" Lexmark says.
