The advertising agency Scheufele Hesse Eigler Kommunikationsagentur received the red dot award in communication design for “The backbone of the office” for König + Neurath office furniture products.
König+Neurath says it is constantly developing new ergonomic seating designs and mechanisms, e.g. mechanisms for i-seating, automatic adjustments to body weight, and synchronous mechanisms. The advertising agency Scheufele Hesse Eigler communicates this with a spinal column made from 24 different chairs.
In a process lasting several days, fifteen jurors, all internationally recognised design experts, evaluated all 6468 submissions. Only 608 pieces of work received a red dot”. All winners will receive their awards at a ceremony on the 7th October 2011 in the Berlin Concert Hall.
