Kodak will focus on its inkjet business and stop production of digital cameras when it emerges from bankruptcy protection.
Kodak will stop production of digital cameras, pocket-size video cameras, and digital picture frames to focus on the production of other, more popular products.
In an official announcement, Kodak said that as a result of its ongoing strategic review process and commitment to drive sustainable profitability, it will concentrate on its most valuable business lines, including online and retail-based photo printing, as well as desktop inkjet printing.
Kodak says it is working closely with its retail partners them to ensure an orderly transition.
