Herma opens new packaging system - Germany

Self-adhesive manufacturer Herma has announced that its new fully-automated packaging system is now in operation at its headquarters in Filderstadt.

The ten-million-euro investment is the second phase in the development of the company’s new plant, which opened in 2008. Herma says that its production facilities are one of the most modern of its kind.

 

"With the launch of the new packaging system, we now operate two complete coating plants on the same site," said Dr. Thomas Baumgartner, Managing Director and Head of Herma adhesive material.

 

He added that customers will benefit from the highest level of reliability and punctuality for delivery, an important advantage in a competitive market.
