Revenues in the Herlitz Group totalled €106 million in the period January to June 2011, up around 5% over the comparable year. The increase was also due to the development of the domestic and foreign brand business.
However, the stationery manufacturer registered a net loss of €6.1 million, compared to a loss of €7.5 million in 2010. The company points out, however, that positive results are usually generated in the second half of the year after the BTS season and Christmas.
With effect from 30 June, Jan of Schuckmann resigned from the board with Thomas Hübner taking over as CEO from July 1. From 1st July, Mr Cheong Seng Ng took over responsibility as Chief Executive responsible for the commercial sector.
