The Hong Kong Green Council is organising a green label product display area at next month’s Paperworld China, to be held September 15-17 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
The organisation says that increasing environmental awareness has created a demand for and the supply of green products. With many products claiming to be green, consumers are sometimes confused by these claims, or doubt their validity. Recognising the need to clarify this situation, the Green Council, a Hong Kong based non-profit organisation will set up a green label product display area in Hall E2 to explain the many different kinds of green labels being used in the marketplace.
“As the largest trade fair in the region for stationery and office supplies, Paperworld China is the best platform to reach out to a targeted audience of industry professionals. Participating in the show, we aim to encourage manufacturers to supply products with a good environmental performance, and provide consumers with the means to recognise products that are more environmentally responsible, thus promoting a sustainable pattern of production and consumption,” said Ms Linda Ho, CEO of the Green Council
Organisers Messe Frankfurt (HK) also announce a series of specially organised seminars reflecting important issues facing the stationery and office supplies industry to be held together with the show.
