Fellowes wins award for fraud prevention campaign - Europe

Fellowes’ European Identity Fraud Prevention Campaign has won the European Excellence Award for best international communication campaign beating campaigns from 5 other leading companies including L’Oreal.

 

Originally launched in the UK in 2005, Fellowes ID Fraud Prevention campaign now runs each October in the UK, Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium, Poland and Germany and has earned the support of many partners and experts across Europe including the Metropolitan Police, Identity & Passport Service, Small Firms Association, Federation of Small Businesses, Chamber of Commerce, CREDOC, MMA and Experian.

 

Each year, the Fellowes campaign creates widespread media coverage on the threat of identity fraud and the steps that business and consumers could and should be taking to keep their identities protected. The latest campaign saw over 750 news features including the BBC One, ITV, TF1, France 2, M6, RTE and Netwerk and saw over 40,000 consumers and businesses visit the campaign websites.
