Clairefontaine sees success with unicef program - France

Since 2004, Clairefontaine-Rhodia and Papeteries Sill have donated more than 1.5 million euros to Unicef to renovate schools, train teachers and supply school equipment. The programme started in Bangladesh and action is currently taking place in Morocco. The Philippines is the next country on the list for aid.

"It was a question of setting up a true action plan to ensure the continuity of the program. At the moment, looking at what is happening on the spot, we can really see a dynamic process in place," explains Rhyzlène Nusse of Communication and Creation at Clairefontaine.

In 2006, Clairefontaine decided to focus its commitment on a program of cooperation with Unicef Morocco. 680,000 euros was donated to fight against children giving up school early, particularly girls.

In 2008, the program of cooperation with Morocco-Unicef is targeting education.
