The BOSS Federation Standardisation & Technical Committee releases today the new Industry Standard Product Classification (ISPC), often called the BOSS Code, for use in the January 2012 Product Files.

“This year we’ve made some small amendments to the Paper category” said the Standardisation & Technical Committee Chairman, Chris Anstey from Spicers. He added, “The new file also contains two new categories – Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing.

This means that some products currently classified under Safety & Security will move into one of these new categories where they can be classified in more detail.” Copies of the new file can be downloaded from the Standards page under Data Standardisation and Industry Standard Product Classification Code on the BOSS website – www.bossfederation.co.uk
