Atlanta Office Products says it has enhanced its environmental credentials after gaining FSC accreditation from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This green badge of approval covers the well known business forms and message books of Atlanta made at the company’s headquarters in Hoogezand, The Netherlands. These include the Things to do Today product and the recently introduced Meeting Notes.
All of these items have been inspected and meet strict environmental criteria laid down by the FSC, plus can carry the FSC logo showing they are made to high environmental standards with minimal impact to the environment. This means that Atlanta uses internationally recognised certifications rather than creating its own green benchmarks and logos.
Reiner Eckhardt, Managing Director of Atlanta Office Products, welcomed the certification, acknowledging it as another major step forward in the company’s green vision. “In recent years we have all become increasingly aware of the real danger of global warming and the implications for all of us. As an innovative developer and manufacturer of office products, Atlanta takes its environmental responsibility very seriously and is working hard to ensure it leads by introducing more green products and procedures.”
