AF to move to larger premises - England

Despite the current economic climate, cleaning products manufacturer AF International reports that it is expanding and positioning itself for continued growth with the announcement that the world headquarters and UK factory will be moving to new larger premises.

This is the third move that AF International, part of HK Wentworth Ltd, has made since its formation in 1956 when the company had a space of just 3,000 sq. ft. The new facility will boast an impressive 62,000 sq. ft. (5750 m2) and is located in two state-of-the-art buildings in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

AF International Managing Director, Ron Jakeman said: “The move to new premises comes at a time of continuing global growth for the company. “The new site includes two modern purpose built buildings which will house administration as well as the research and development department, laboratories and warehousing.

“Remaining in Swadlincote will allow us to operate continuously and provide our customers with the best service possible. We also place a great amount of value in our people and by keeping the new facility in the same area it has also allowed us to maintain the same experienced and professional staff.”

The move will start in April and take place progressively throughout the year from the existing site so disruption in development and manufacture is not affected.
