UK distributor Acorn Business Supplies continues to expand with the acquisition of G&C Office Supplies. G&C is based in Kent, in the south of England and since starting business in 1986 has developed a sound customer base in the area.
G&C managing director Trevor Griffiths joins Acorn in a semi-retirement role focusing on the integration and growth of the G&C customer base. Acorn’s MD, John Harrison said: “We are extremely pleased that Trevor has decided to join us. He brings with him a loyal customer base which gives us the opportunity to further strengthen our Kent business, as well as expanding further into Sussex.”
Trevor Griffiths said: “I have worked in the office supplies industry in Tunbridge Wells and local area for nearly 40 years. Many businesses and individuals have been constant and faithful customers of G & C for all or most of that time. Our industry has seen many changes in the products we sell and the way that we sell them but there is one area that has not changed at all throughout those years and that is the quality and level of service we provide to all our clients.”
